Every material on this page is stocked in-house. If your application needs something outside the list, ask — we will tell you honestly whether we can do it.
| Material | Properties | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| 316L stainless | Corrosion resistant, ductile, excellent printability | General functional parts, prototypes, food and medical environments |
| 17-4PH stainless | Precipitation hardening, high strength after heat treatment | Load-bearing components, tooling, aerospace brackets |
| AlSi10Mg | Lightweight, good thermal conductivity, easy to machine | Heat sinks, cold plates, housings, brackets |
| Ti-6Al-4V | High strength-to-weight ratio, biocompatible | Aerospace, medical implants and instruments, premium sporting parts |
| Inconel 718 | High-temperature strength, oxidation and corrosion resistance | Hot-section components, chemical processing, rocket hardware |
Tough, chemically resistant, no support marks. Ideal for snap fits, living hinges and complex ducting.
Stiff and dimensionally stable. Gears, jigs, structural brackets and replacements for machined parts.
Smooth surface and fine detail. Housings, presentation models and master patterns for casting.
Impact resistant, good for functional prototypes that need to survive drop tests.
Large parts, jigs and fixtures where cost per part and lead time matter more than surface finish.
Chemically resistant and inexpensive. Guards, covers and non-critical enclosures.
Tell us what the part has to survive — load, temperature, chemicals, UV, abrasion — and we will recommend one material and one process, not a list of six.
| If the part must… | We usually recommend |
|---|---|
| Carry load at room temperature | PA12-CF, 17-4PH, 316L |
| Handle heat above 120 °C | Inconel 718, Ti-6Al-4V, PC (lower loads) |
| Resist chemicals or salt water | 316L, PTFE-lined assemblies, PA12 |
| Be as light as possible | AlSi10Mg, PA12-CF with lattice infill |
| Show fine detail for review | SLA standard resin |
| Be produced cheaply in low volume | FDM PETG or PA-CF, depending on load |
